King Holiday Parade and Multicultural Unity Festival
The annual parade features marching bands from
local schools, cultural performers, floats from
area organizations, businesses and thousands of
marchers from all segments of the Broward County community with banners and signs will promote the vision and ideals of Dr. King. Parade departs at 9:30am from Sistrunk Blvd.and NW 5th Ave and ends at Carter Park. Festival immediately following.

*NEW* Teen Zone - Carter Park Gym | Basketball Court, 12pm-3pm
Teen Zone empowers local teens through interactive, engaging activities that promote non-violence, unity, and positive community action. Highlights include a Teen Open Mic, Marching Band, Makeup Station, 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, and exciting giveaways. Plus, vendors in the Teen Zone will offer resources to inspire peaceful solutions and community awareness.
Teen Summit
Students delve into pressing social justice topics and discover ways to positively impact their communities through their voice. Local celebrity appearances, cultural performances, and Day of Service projects will be presented at this event.
